Scott Denny, PhD, BPS (Ac.), MS (Ac.), AP, Dipl. Ac. (NCCAOM), FAAIM, DAAPM,
Acupuncture Physician & Integrative Medicine
Dr. Denny holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Excelsior College, and a Bachelor of Professional Studies and Master Science degree from Tri-State College of Acupuncture (TSCA) in New York City. He also holds a Ph.D. in Electromedical Science from City University Los Angeles, and has had the honor of being the past President of American Academy of Pain Management (AAPM). He is also a past member of the AAPM Board of Directors and a current member of the AAPM Board of Advisors. He has served on numerous AAPM committees including; membership, education, planning, scientific posters, certification standards, examination writing, utilization, Pain Program Accreditation (PPA), and the technology and integrative medicine committees. He is also a 1984 graduate of the New York Chiropractic College receiving his D.C. degree, and is also past faculty of New York Chiropractic College. Dr. Denny is a founding Trustee of the University of Integrated Studies. He is a nine time recipient of the Continuing Education Excellence Award in Pain Management. He has also received the 2007 Outstanding Acupuncture Associate Award from The Zachariah Family Wellness Pavilion at Holy Cross Hospital. He is certified in many other areas including: cosmetic acupuncture, homotoxicology/homeopathy, functional mediciine, and cold laser techniques. Dr. Denny has lectured nationally and internationally on numerous topics including; surface electromyography in soft tissue injury assessment, manual medicine assessment and management of whiplash injury, biopuncture in the management of aesthetic conditions, biological medicine in complementary care, acupuncture in pain management, to name of few.
He holds several certifications including a Diplomate in Pain Management, a Diplomate in Acupuncture from the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM), and a Diplomate from the American Association of Integrative Medicine's College of Acupuncture & Neuromuscular Therapy. He is also a New York State Workers' Compensation Board - Certified Independent Medical Examiner.
Dr. Denny externed at the Sidney Hillman Center, Institute for Urban Family Health, an outpatient facility affiliated with Beth Israel Hospital while attending Tri-State College of Acupuncture. The focus of this acupuncture work was with the HIV community. In addition, Scott has also worked with the Center for Positive Connections, an HIV support and resource center in Miami. Scott currently serves as an advisor to The Health and Wellness Center, Inc., a not-for-profit resource and outreach center for patients suffering from chronic illness and disease.
Dr. Denny is a Fellow of the American Back Society and a Fellow of the American Association of Integrative Medicine. He is a past Clinical Research Fellow of the Institute of Pain Management and was involved in data collection for the National Pain Data Bank (NPDB). He is a past member of the Board of Directors of the Florida State Oriental Medical Association. He is a member of the American College for Advancement in Medicine, the American Holistic Health Association, The National Center for Homeopathy, The Australian Association of Homotoxicology, and the American Holistic Medical Association.
Dr. Denny has received post graduate training and certification in Acupuncture Injection Therapy (AIT) from the East West College of Natural Medicine in Sarasota, Florida. He has received his certification in traditional mesotherapy from the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine.
He has retired from chiropractic practice and his current practice focus is acupuncture and oriental medicine in pain management, the treatment of aesthetic conditions with oriental and integrative medicine, functional homotoxicology and nutrition, mesotherapy, biopuncture in pain management, anti-aging nutrition, homeopathy and herbs. He is the co-developer of the Antalgic-Trak spinal decompression system, and its technique called Kinetic Decompression Mobilization (KDM).

Peter Diamond, DC, Chiropractic Physician & Nutritional Management
Dr. Diamond is the Director of Clinical Services at MultiCare Rehab. Dr. Peter Diamond graduated with his Bachelor degree in Liberal Arts and Sociology from C.W. Post, Long Island University and his Doctorate in Chiropractic from University of Bridgeport College of Chiropractic in 2000. In addition, Dr. Diamond is a member of the Florida Chiropractic Association.
Dr. Diamond has extensive post graduate training in orthopedic management of injuries from Harvard University Medical School in Boston Massachusetts. He is currently completing his Master of Science Degree in Human Nutrition through the University of Bridgeport. He specializes in several clinical areas including personal injury assessment and rehabilitation, functional medicine and nutritional support for management of complex health conditions.
Prior to relocating to Florida, Dr. Diamond was Clinical Director of Integrated Medical, a multidisciplinary medical practice. Dr. Diamond continues his medical education through regular attendance of post-graduate continuing education courses. Dr. Diamond is certified in FirstLine Therapy and holds a certifcations in Women & Mens Health and Headache Management.
Dr. Diamond has completed his certification in Myofascial Trigger Point Therapy through the Barnes Institute, In addition, Dr. Diamond is certified in cold laser technique. He has also completed his training in functional endocrinology, advanced techniques for evaluating and treating body imbalances and root causes of many health conditions. Dr. Diamond is committed to the pursuit of technologies and techniques that lead to optimum health; spiritually, mentally and physically.
Elizabeth King, EdD, MSW, LCSW, CHT,
Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist, Certified Clinical Supervisor for Clinical Social Work (CSW), Mental Health Counselors (MHC) and Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT).
Dr. King earned her doctoral degree in Educational Leadership and Bachelor of Science from Nova Southeastern University and her Master of Social Work from Florida International University. She earned certification in clinical hypnotherapy from the American Board of Clinical and Medical Hypnotherapy. She has received postgraduate training on chronic pain and pain management and is currently pursing advanced certification in hypnotic anesthesiology.
Dr. King has over 12 years of clinical experience in the private and public sector and has served as clinical director, and as clinical consultant to national, state and local organizations. She has also provided supervision to professionals in social work, family counseling, and in the mental health fields.
Dr. King has dedicated the last 2 years on researching and developing alternative pain management techniques that address the neuro-psychological as well as the physical aspects of pain. Her commitment to develop a non-pharmacological pain management protocol came from her own personal quest to find pain relief for herself and her patients.
Dr. King is a true testimony to utilizing an interdisciplinary approach. She joined MultiCare Rehabiliation’s staff because MultiCare’s services combined with Dr. King’s techniques provided her with the greatest pain relief of any program she has ever attempted. Dr. King feels compelled to share this revolutionary pain management program with others. Dr. King co-founded Neuro-Fusion Institute and has co-developed Neuro-Fusion Technique. She is recognized as a dynamic speaker and presenter and is considered to be an expert in her field. She has written and delivered compelling presentations on many aspects of her areas of expertise on topics such as pain management, stress management, brain science, trauma, infant mental health, effective parenting, adolescent issues and understanding cultural diversity in clinical practice.
Dr. King is scheduled to publish a book on alternative solutions for dealing with pain in 2008.
Jean Evandolyn Philp, LMT, Licensed Massage Therapist
Ms. Philp attended the National School of Technology located in Miami, Florida and graduated in 2002. While studying at National School of Technology she received recognition for her work as an outstanding student and for her knowledge in Human Anatomy & Physiology.
Ms. Philp has also completed training in Advanced Massage Therapy. She's been in practice with several medical groups since becoming licensed in Florida. Ms. Philp specializes in Deep Tissue Massage, Swedish Massage, Myofascial Release and Trigger Point Therapy. These forms of Massage Therapy involve a deeper touch which helps isolate specific muscles in order to lengthen, release restrictions and separate muscle groups.
