Non- invasive body sculpting

Beautification The Natural Way

Non-Invasive Body Sculpting:

At our facility we offer many cutting edge techniques to sculpt and rejuvenate the face and body. We address a multitude of aesthetic conditions with these techniques. Many of the same conditions that would typically be treated via injection can now be treated without the use of syringes or needles. Typical examples are: Facial rejuvenation, localized fat, cellulite treatment, wrinkle reduction and skin tightening.

We employ iontophoresis which is the application of soothing electrical currents to drive natural medications into the skin. This procedure has been used in physical medicine for decades. Another commonly used procedure is phonophoresis, which uses high frequency, low intensity ultrasound waves to administer natural medications through the skin. In fact the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery issued the following statement in regards to phonophoresis:

"New skin care product formulations, used in conjunction with ultrasound, will allow for deeper penetration of topically applied rejuvenating agents into the skin, resulting in significantly improved aesthetic results."

Ultrasound stimulus is non-invasive and very safe to administer. The product will almost evaporate into the skin after the head of the ultrasound tool is lightly rubbed onto the skin. As well as assisting with penetrating product into the skin surface, ultrasound has been proven to assault cellulite nodules and adipose (fat) cells. This occurs due to the mechanical-thermal effect of ultrasound, which helps breakdown the fibrous tissue and fat cells.

The use of iontophoresis has been shown to provide a much needed increase in blood and lymph circulation. Interferential current works with the patient's body to stimulate the abdomen, thigh and buttock muscles. It also promotes cell rejuvenation and helps tone and tighten the skin. Unhealthy and damaged skin cells begin to resonate at the same healing rate as healthy, young cells. Patients can expect a 40 percent or more increase in levels of collagen and elastin due to this stimulus. Each skin cell vibrates, expels toxins, re-establishes a potassium-sodium exchange and re-oxygenates, allowing the skin to be cleansed and moisturized. Finally, the muscle stimulation increases the metabolic rate and improves circulation, which in turn reduces cellulite build-up while detoxifying the body.

Vacuum Therapy

Another commonly used technique for the treatment of cellulite is vacuum therapy or the proprietary technique known as Endermologie. This mechanical massage technique is used with the assistance of suction and applied to a problem area of the body for the treatment of cellulite.Click to view large size picture . . . This process increases circulation, promotes lymphatic drainage and breaks down the build up of fibrotic tissue which is what causes the “dimpling effect” commonly seen with cellulite. (Please see picture).

Depending upon the aesthetic condition being treated, all of these techniques can be used in combination to enhance the treatment results. Home care products are also recommended to maintain the desired results.
